Singer-songwriter, Brent Burns, is a long time supporter of Habitat for Humanity. Wherever Brent travels, he makes a donation to the local Habitat affiliate and presents them with a copy of his Habitat tribute song, "Build Them A House."
Brent Burns also supports Habitat here at home in
Gulf Shores, AL. Brent
built a house for Habitat with proceeds from his "Perpetual Vacation"
CD (Sand Spur
Records- www.brentburns.com.) After talking to Habitat's local president, Sherry
Weaver, Burns was convinced that along with his label, they should raise
the approximately $7500 needed for a framing package.
Sales from the CD have raised more than $8000, and that amount is growing every
day.
